Realtek ALC887

I am having trouble getting the ALC887 audio to work. Have tried the drivers on the latest Multibeast as well as latest VoodooHDA. Both show audio working but none actually produce sound on any ports. I have the Asus AT5IONT-I mini-itx mobo which has the ION2 GPU onboard with HDMI out, not sure if this is the issue or not since audio over HDMI also won't work.
