The kext for ALC889a included in the client server 10.6.2 is not working , however the appleazalia.kext is working except the input, hopefully new kext can fix that

I tried that version with my Gigabyte motherboard GA-MA790X-UD4P and I have the audio slider shown, but all I get is silence. I tried changing the sound outputs under system preferences but no joy.

Work only with HdaEnabler.kext
Uninstall voodoohda, delete original applehda.kext. Install this applehda.kext and hdaenabler.kext to system/library/extensions
