Did a reboot and it started working again.
I've got a patched AppleHDA and voodooHDA installed.
I get sound
but there is a lot of noise.
Is there anyway of countering that?

Bumping this. I'm also having the static noise problem with VoodooHDA. Old ALC662 kext isnt working either. Anyone find a solution?

Maybe work this. Need hdaenabler. Delete original applehda.kext, voodoohda too.
Realtek_ALC662.zip
(legacy)
or this
ALC662.zip
HDAEnabler.kext.zip
