trying to get hd 6790 to work on SL 10.6.7

well, i got everything up and running with the exception of being able to get support for my HD6790 graphics card. Wondering if anyone has been able to get this card installed. I tried an ATI update for 10.6.7 but still nothing. In profile is shows Vendor ID ATI (0x1002) & Device ID 0x673e 256mb and my card is 1GB. Resolution only shows 1024x768. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
