Hello everyone, thanks for read this topic. I had a serious problem when I'm booting Hazard Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 SSE2/SSE3 Intel AMD from the DVD in my HP 425. When I start the boot, my laptop freezes in a black screen (so totally black, nothing appear, the lcd screen of my laptop is turned off!)... or, in some cases, the laptop reboot and freezes in the BIOS Information. Anyone can give me some Ideas? I tried with some bootflags at startup, but nothing work.... Thanks in advance!

HP 425 Specs:
CPU AMD Athlon II P320
Bus Speed 200
MOBO: HP 1475 | chipset amd 785GX | Bios Up-to-date ;)
4GB Ram
ATI Mobile Radeon Graphics HD 4250 | 256MB

Did you change everything correctly in your bios ? And are you using a bootloader before you try and install leo hazards 10.6 ?

Im going to assume you didn't here ok !

1st you need to set your bios to what the guides tell you to ,if you dont have the AHCI setting like me , I set everything in my bios - boot - storage to auto then turned on S.M.A.R.T (enabled) beware it worked for me it may not for you ! then save , I used the MOD_CD as my boot loader disc because hazards kept on rebooting on a loop so you may want to try that ! so once your bios is set and you have the boot loader , Insert the disc (MOD_CD) let it run for a minute or so until you see the options on the screen , take it out of the drive and then insert the hazard dvd or retail dvd , press f5 to refresh the device ! then I used the boot flag -v and enter !
Hopefully it works for you , please remember I am not a professional I just read a lot of guides =D

Good luck
Leon
