Two clues for BIOS...
Are you using AHCI in BIOS?
And rest SATA ports as SATA type not as IDE or RAID?
Did you disabled Legacy USB support in BIOS?

Are you putting SATA0 for DVD and SATA 1 for MAC HDD?
Can you give a try on it? I dont know how far I went debugging? Best of luck?
Fox any clue?

Hi
Yeh yeh I know the pain of having AMD in your bag. :)
I had to give a try of more than 70 I hope.
Whatever I do have the same processor but I never tried Hakintosh on it.
As this new machine is dedicated for game development only....
I do not have a clear picture though,
I think if you can list up exactly what are the kexts you use for installation,
we might find some hope......

AMD Athlon 4000+ 64 bit dual core
Gigabyte GA-MA770UD3 Rev 2.1
RAM Kingston 512 *2, CORSAIR 1 GB*2 all 667 MHz

Seagate HDD 500GB SATA (SL 10.6.8)

Hi :D soumya,
Yaa i assembled my rig for gaming only but os x is better and efficient cause i tried it in virtual and in virtual it is way better and i want to use logic studio and after effects...Anyway,i used the following kext

1-Mac OS X 10.6.2 Update Combo
2-Legacy Kernel 10.2.0 Intel AMD (not modbin cause it is for10.6.0 not for 10.6.2)
3-In system support Cmos reset ElliotforcelegacyRTC and LegacyAppleRTC (tried both in different installation i mean one by one but no success)
4-graphics enabler,NVEnabler,NVInject i have nvidia card u can see it in my profile signature..i tried installing them one by one and once none of them.
5-Voodoo 0.2.52 for audio(but my audio chip is Audio ALC 892 8-Channel High Definition Audio so i dont know which driver is suitable for me)
6-I dont know which network driver to use so i check RTL8169 Ethernet(driver that i use on win7 is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller)
7-In system Support AHCI SATA Fix Extra/Extensions, Legacy SATA Fix and IOATAFamily Fix, IOATAFamily SATA Fix Extra/Extensions and JMicronATA Injector andi tried them one by one and all of them none of them but no success it hangs or stop responding at last 16 min...blue bar of installation stop moving...
8-AMD patch
9-quicktime

i am using ps\2 keyboard and a usb mouse so which kext should i use for them...
These are the kext i tried...please tell me which will work fine for me and which to select so the installation will not hang in between...i tried dsmos kext too but it hangs again.
Please help me. ..

Thanks. :) ..

I never installed it onto a AMD machine I just got my system a few months ago, I also never seen anyone install it onto a x6 core cpu successfully.

To be honest I dont think it will work :(

Search on Google it will help more then we can.

Search with: Snow Leopard 1090T

See if anyone has installed it and if they did see what they did to get it working.

And again I havent seen anyone here get a x6 core AMD CPU to install correctly.

Hi fox..Thanks for replying..I got it working on my pc using usb stick(installed osx on usb)..here are some screen shots....
but i m having another problem i have no audio no ethernet and no graphic so i installed audio kext and after that i restart it wont boot..I comes to apple logo and spinning wheel and restart..i go into verbose but it restarts(but last few lines are like dsmos arrived, audio hardware none or failed and dsmos arrived and restart)...I installed it using virtual box..But now i dont know how to remove that kext cause virtual box wont boot usb osx and my win7 and win7 vhd is also not working...

And u have the same processor and soumya too...It is working like a charm no kp on shutdown and restart use flags -x cpus=2 busratio=23...

Thanks and reply me mate

Sweet ! Good job ;)

Yeah youll have to mess with it, Maybe even re-installing it over and over again trying different things, Some people here it took them 25+ re-installs to find there systems sweet spot.

Google stuff is the best, like search for : Snow Leopard (ethernet model etc) kext

This should help you out, Its not a exact science so youll have to just mess with it ;)

Yeah thats why I always install OSX onto its own Hard drive so you dont have problems with OSX ruining the Win7 partitions.

Install Win7 to its own HD first, then install OSX onto its own HD ;)
