Hello,

I´ve some questions because some software is not working correctly and i´m gona to ask if the problem is my hackintosh or the configurations on it.

1st problem:
When i run vlc- player (newest version) after some time (ca. 30-60 min) the picture freezes and the sound still goes on.

2nd problem:
When i run setup from istat menus i got a kernel panic.....

Does anybody knows this problems?
Is there a way to solve it?

PS: The problems i have on my AMD system with SL.

Thx

I really belive that the graphic is more to blame here than the cpu...cause I had the same problem with my old one until I bought a nvidia...now everything is working perfectly...

I think i´m gonna to know what the problem with vlc is. My Data are on a ntfs- partition from my windows system and i use paragon ntfs to use it. I noticed that when the computer is gonna to read or write to an partition theres a timeout and in use with the option drop frame (in video preferences) from vlc the timeout is to long. Thats the reason why the image is gonna to freeze...... :x I will copy data and will undo the ntfs partition to hfs+.

Does nobody know how to use istat menus without kernel panic????!!!!
Is it possible that it is not gonna to work with amd with the original kexts????

Would be really nice if somebody can help me......
