Patch the CPUID using the Marvin's AMD Utility

How to instal and fix things by using step by step method

1. Run the Marvin's AMD Utility

2. Select option #2
3. Browse to the location you wish to patch then run it
4. an icon of the AMD.Patch folder will appear in the Desktop
5. Copy the file cpuid.txt out from the patch folder to another folder or volume of hard drive.
6. Select option #3 and UNCHECK the simulation mode.
7. In the select Cpuid file, browse to the folder or volume you had copied earlier in step #5,
in the "select a volume" box, browse to the location you wish to patch, which you had done in step #3
8. Run the process
9. Another log file is created.
10. Patching is Succesful and Restart your H@ckint0sh

NOTE :
If you get an error while patching the cpuids make a note of what it crashed on then open the cpuid.txt you are using and delete the line the error was on and everything above it and then run again.

the iTunes' location :
/System/Library/QuickTime/
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.frameork/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/Versions/A/

the Spotlight's location :
/System/Library/PreferencePanes/Spotlight.prefPane

i cant patch Spotlight.prefpane! its greyed out! not selectable...and has anyone else discovered anything else which is not stable n needs to b patched? thanks a lot guyz!

This was the last step I needed to get everything working so far with 10.6.2 and now 10.6.3. Thanks for the post.

do you downlaod it in the mac system i have the folders on my windows system desktop do i copy and paste them to the mac desktop or what ? im new to this any help is greatly appreciated thanks
