Im guessing you get kernel panic when booting Hazard SL?? The boot cd should just get you past and restart or "waiting for root device" problems.

Well really you can just use rd=diskX to get past the root device problems. I've tried Hazard and iAtkos thus far.

I run into the kernal panic when I use
busratio=16 rd=disk0 -v -x

what other options could I try

So your using the boot cd, but when you swap over to Hazard SL your still getting problems??

I'm getting a really weird kernel panic (I think?) when I boot up. It just gets stuck there...

Thats weird. The boot cd should just start things off, not show kernel panics and text like that. Maybe the boot cd aint for you

It did get me further than I ever did before. It stopped the rebooting at least.

Could I just ask that would this method work for installing Snow Leopard 10.6.2, when I currently have Windows 7, and I would like to make a dual boot consisting of Snow Leopard and Windows 7?
My specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S)
4x1GB DDR2 667
2x500GB WD 7200RPM
Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 1GB GDDR3
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

Tried it out, think I ran into problems which I may like to show it here
I have my SATA configuration set to ACHI, and I have put my BootCD into the drive and boot it so this is what I see on my screen...
Image

Doesn't seem like a problem right? So next I was asked to enter 2-digit number but I didn't as you instructed, and switch from BootCD to my Hazard SL DVD and hit [ENTER], shown here...
Image

Tried inputting "-v -x" and press [ENTER] but the response was to ask me to key-in the 2-digit hexadecimal numbers again...
Image

Some notes: I tried pressing [F8] while still having my Hazard's SL DVD in the drive, and there wasn't any response... I think I might have done something wrong, but what is it?

Once you have booted the boot cd, you then swap to the Hazard DVD and hit return. You should then be prompted to hit f8 and it should show you are reading the Hazard DVD. This is when you enter your boot flags and run your install. Check through the steps i posted in the first post and you should be fine :)
