Reboot at startup after successful installation

Chameleon, Boor132 and PCEFI

Hi, I managed to successfully instal (using v- busratio=20 cpus=1) the whole thing selecting INTEL settings at installion but when I restart my computer and select the MAC OS, it's boots fine until I see the Apple logo. After that it immediately reboots and the whole cycle repeats itself. I tried both Chameleon boot loaders, no luck. Anybody found a solution to this problem?

Specs:
ASUS G51J, G60JX
INTEL i5-460M 2.53 GHz
nVIDIA GTS 360M
4GB RAM.

Use this section viewforum.php?f=17 and update your Hazard DVD. This way you will have more options not only for boot loaders, but other choices too. See if this helps :)

Which other options should I look for because I downloaded the image by torrent (not from rapidshare as suggested in the link) and I do have options for other things than just the boot loader. Until now I selected the things that were INTEL related en left the AMD stuff out. Do you need an exact list of the options I selected?

Downloading from torrent is fine, you can still patch the iso and get the new options. You will see the new options once you have done this. There are a couple of things that will help. Download a program called CPUID CPU-Z. This will tell you your pc specs which will help. Also look here viewforum.php?f=21 This is the successful install section. See if there is a post in there close to your specs, or hopefully spot on and use those option to install :) Good luck

Updated the ISO, tried installing with viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2852 settings but at the end of the installation I get a message that the installation failed, when the computer restarts Chameleon load up and I can choose MAC OS but again at the apple logo the computer reboots.

Take out the graphics enabler and also the ps2 support unless your using ps2 mouse or keyboard. Try again and see how you get along :)

Yeah, already left those out but still no luck at boot-> logo... restart. Also tried some other kernels but same result. couldn't really find anyone with a i5 CPU that succesfully runs the OS. Could it be that I have to instal MAC OS before I instal windows?

If you are attempting a dual boot system, then its my understanding that you must install Mac OS X before Windows, but im no expert on dual systems. There are guides on here about that though

Removed windows 7, but still keeps rebooting on me at the apple logo. The only thing that changes when I try installing MAC without a kernel is the it freezes on the apple logo at boot. Can't give you the verbose mode failures because If I start up in verbose mode screen rapidly goes black and laptop reboots. I'm kind of at a dead end here,,, help please :P
